Hi, I'm Monte Torkelsen.


I'm a coach and nonprofit director whose greatest joy is helping people discover their value, clarify their purpose, and take meaningful steps toward becoming who they truly are.


Life has brought its share of challenges, questions, and unexpected turns. Through it all, my wife Darla has been a patient, loving, courageous, and encouraging partner. Together, we've made homes in Michigan, Washington, Australia, Ohio, Colorado, and now Oregon.


We're proud parents of three adult sons and their partners, and delighted grandparents. Our lives are enriched by family, friendships, travel, hiking, biking, learning, and sharing great meals together.


Challenges have not disappeared, but I've learned that joy, meaning, and purpose can exist alongside them.



And today, I can honestly say: I love my life.
